The Importance of Independent Recording in the Nineties
Hollenowitz has never made an album with a record company since they were actually, you know, believe it or not, I don't think we get enough credit for it. But we were one of the first groups to actually be independent recorders in the early nineties. And just think how hard that was back then now you got streaming and YouTube and everything you just put it out everywhere. Back then you actually had to physically press stuff, say vinyl or CD and cassettes,. Then figure out distribution and getting it into the record stores.
