Is There a Better Word Than Worship That Will Help?

i wonder if the word worship even works, because i think i when i use worship, even in the o teach old testament. When i'm teaching the hebrew bible and i say worship, i know all the christian students are thinking of going into a church,. And that's all they have for worship. So is, do you think there's a better word than worship that will help us here? Ye, i guess worship, we tend to think of those outward signs, so things like, yes, singing, doing the actions, the rituals, perhaps.
