In verse seven heis still speaking of those that are fighting against god, that are rewarding his goodness with their own evil. When would prayer become sin? Well, mormon talked about that in moroni chapter seven,. wright that if the intent isn't there, then it's not just counted neutral, like you didn't do anything. It's counted evil. T even worse in this case, if i'm responding to god negatively, which suggests i'm probably responding to others negatively as well
