The Imminent Argument of Aquinas for the Existence of God
Father Gregory: St. Thomas argues that there are two most significant reasons why people fail to believe in God. One is the existence of evil, which is a tremendous sorrow, and the experience of suffering leads many to question God's goodness says Father Gregory. The second reasonPeople often doubt in God according to Aquinas is that they believe that science will be able to explain all of these things - but it can't. He says when we talk about being like God, we're talking about more basic concepts than cause and effect.
