It's literally been a year to day that we've started working on, like the merge under its current design a. About a year ago, i think pole lamde was the guy who kicked us off. But there was this isand hackathon where we just got all the client teams together and said, can we hack together like a post mergitherium prototype in a month? And we did. So it did work, obviously, but there was tons of bugs. We spent like oll ive last summer fixing those bugs. The next step after that would be forking existing mainnet with only small number of notes.
