The Free Church and the Establishment Principle
Corey: I think it's a little bit of a red herring to say you come from a church that has an establishment principle chapter 23 of the Westminster Confession therefore there's no way that you could be a pluralist and work in liberal democratic politics. The average free church member probably doesn't have much of a clue about something like the establishment principle but what do you think about how the establishment principle functions? Corey: Are those things completely a anathema to one another are they actually quite like reconcilable yeah that's an important question and interpreting what the divines meant by establishment is a really difficult connection.
