Are Markets a Product of Complex Societies?

Markets don't just spring out of the ground, they are a result of complex social arrangements. Even if you think about black markets yet, i think you generally get black markets on any significant scale. The reason you have that black market is that there are lots of desperately poor people who like this as an alternative way to support themselves. And then i think the real question whether economic results can be achieved in those ways at least right now. I'm sceptical but  the best thing we can do is re- engineering the incentives that exist in the first place.
