The Ballroom of the Leifrich Hotel
Back in the swinging 60s, the Leifrich Hotel was the landmark destination in Coventry. People performed on the stage and Johnny Rotten threw his TV out of the window there. It's hard to describe how derelict the ballroom is when we walked round it. I think it was maucom and wise, but more than wise. And over that time, some local hoodlums, youths, skivvies, had evidently broken in. So sex ex-pistols, sex,. because I have a feeling that Johnny Rotten throwing his TV outof the window was actually in the LeifRich Hotel. Now, now defunct.
