Airflow vs Step Functions
Both air flow and step functions, at the very high level, both can do orchestration. Where step functions really excels is in its true servelos nature. So for example, let's say i was an e commerce company. I wouldn't use airflow to sign up new users or process orders because air flow is meant to run on a known schedule with known data. Whereas step functions, it doesn't matter whether you get one order at a time or a million orders at a time. It can scale out to that.
