Eviction Rates in Contragusta County
Black families, black households, were getting evicted at two, sometimes even three times the rate of white households. Particularly in contragusta county, which is where tedan stanley lived, it was about double the rate. I mean, it that just straight up racism like in the sense that people are less likely to give people the benefit of the doubt or extend a break because some of these eviction negotiations are really quite complicated and go on for quite some time.
