The Basic Principles of Adsorption
Adsorption is used to take an antibody out of the plasma. So we have our red cells, whether they're the patient's own cells in an autologous adsorption or someone else's red cells in an aloe adsorption. And then if we centrifuge that mixture and take off the supernatant plasma, the adsorbed plasma, we would hope that that antibody is gone.
