Sally Kohn: Let's talk about high school because we can use America as a jumping off point. It seems like the high school experience, I'm not so sure it's changed since I got out in the 80s," she says. "For a lot of high schools in our country that have been dragged into this public agenda of increasing test scores, I think that it's been a kind of a barren, empty experience for a lot of students who then drift off and become unmotivated" She concludes by saying there is reason to hope with some fresh thinking on how young people should be educated.
