Is It a Good Idea to Port a Game on Switch?

If someone purchased supermorial world on the we should they be ble to access it free of charge on the three d us, assuming their using the same account? Going further, should they be able to access that particular game on switch without requiring aso subscription? More broadly, if nintendo respected and honored previous digital purchases across platforms, would this increase confidence and appetite for their digital market place?
