Gill: There's a whole lot to talk about, but i'm just going to throw out here a few themes that i think these two texts share. So on the one hand, passions are the affects like you. And affects be sadness or or joy, even fear and hope, they are unreasonable. They don't follow the dictates of reason. Yet with a spiniis necessitarianism. Ynow. How does the unreasonable and necessity work together? I want to hear your response. It seems we inevitably have these passions and affects, that we inevitably act unreasonably and irrationally. Is that too necessary? And if so, how can it be cretiqued
