What Is the Value of FX Reserves Declining?
Lucid: In your note put out on October 3, you indicate that in the quarter and the June, the value of results had dipped by about $18.2 billion. But that the 6.5% appreciation in the US dollar had resulted in a valuation loss of $22.7 billion which seems higher obviously. What does this mean exactly? Lucid: Yes, I am assuming you are talking about the April June quarter of FY23. So there we saw these reserves declining by $18. 2 billion. And so this is not our estimate, this is a number which RBI has given themselves."
