How Wall Street Accepted Technical Analysis

20 years ago how was Wall Street accepting technical analysis versus now? It really wasn't I've seen a game acceptance say such a huge degree over what I would consider to be a pretty short period and I credit that to the Chartered Market Technicians Association. The CMT Association is somewhat somewhat similar to the CFA Society but it's an organization that helped me learn more about technical analysis.
