Science education was the closest thing to science communication that i found. As a student, yout you find yourself really begging for school students to fill your questioneers and that you'll have the data. But then when the peach dee left, then they don't do it any more, and everything is lost. So maybe what we really need to do is to see what people wanted to know about science by using an information freely available on the intenet.
