The Importance of Innovation in Healthcare

When I took up the post of CEO in journey 19, the first job that the board of directors gave me was to write a new strategic plan. A bit like Ryanair, patients are our core business and everything we do relates back to that. There's six priority areas but they're all about improving access to patients because if you can't access us and our services in a timely fashion, it doesn't matter how good we are.
