Is Following Jesus Costly?

Happiness is really circumstantial. Joy can be there despite circumstances, even when things are crashing down around us. When we put Jesus first and we make him Lord of our life, yes, there is a cost. David knew the cost, but he understood the benefit. That's the joy that comes as a result of seeking first his kingdom.
