Carl Quintanilla, Sara Eisen, and David Faber began the show with a look at the big Fed meeting on deck, a day after an appeals court ruled that President Trump cannot fire Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook before the FOMC Meeting. David Faber also had a new Faber report on TikTok, saying that the framework agreement for the social media platform will include new investors as well as existing investors in the platform’s Chinese parent company ByteDance. Later in the hour, CNBC’s Phil LeBeau brought an exclusive interview with the CEO of Rivian on the company’s new $5B EV assembly plant in Georgia.
