A Simple Math Formula That Explains Media Algorithms
Noah John Siracusa is Associate Professor of Mathematics at Bentley University in the States. He says there's basically the same formula that drives Facebook's algorithm, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok - even though they're very different platforms. Algorithm uses artificial intelligence to predict what kinds of actions you're going to do on each post. And whatever post earns the most points is what it'll show us first.
