The Justice Department Sues Google for Corrupting the Ad Market
The Justice Department has decided to sue Google for corrupting the ad market. This is the second major antitrust lawsuit filed against Google by the Justice Department in the last three years. If it's successful, could force Google to sell off much of its advertising business. The DOJ and a coalition of state attorneys generally sued Google in 2020 for using anti-competitive tactics to illegally monopolize online search ads.
