Is There a Moment in the Lord of the Rings or the Hobbit That Is Just Your Favourite?

Everything that I learn around Tolkien helps me, says the author. He recently did a forward for a book about Tolkien's hike through the Swiss Alps. How is it that his 10-day hike in August 1911 from Interlaken to the other side of the Alps? Is there a moment in the Lord of the Rings or the Hobbit that is just your favourite? Or does that change over time? Oh, I can never answer those questions. There's just so many. Once again, usually it's tied to something visual or something with a powerful emotional moment.
