The Importance of Self Perception in Team Health
Dora is a nice checklist. It's simple to use. There's tools, there's this whole economy of developer productivity tools that are built around tracking Dora metrics. I was very surprised about how much self perception matters more when it comes to team health and the quantitative data or the telemetry data. When you add self perception into this definition of productivity, it feels less like surveillance and a bit more empowering and actionable.
