Carrie Ann was a Holly song that started out by Tony Hicks, I think. And it turned into a song that we had written about Marianne Faithful. We were trying to come up with a girl's name that would disguise the fact that it was about MarianneFaithful. They would have known. She is a brilliant writer Marianne. She really is.
