The First Industrial Action in Philadelphia

The first significant industrial action which is recorded Fletcher took part in began in 1913. In May of 1913, dock workers in Philadelphia go on strike because they need or want to raise. That strike shuts down the waterfront, meaning that ships that are in the Delaware River are stuck for several weeks.
