The Importance of Curiousness in Science
Don't be defensive when you're wrong. Embrace failure and use it as a motivation for further discovery. The authority of a set of scientific experiments, if they're conducted well, is more important than the authority of any person who gives you their opinion. You have to- Possibly your major professor Absolutely. In fact, I encourage my students to argue with me and trust me when I tell you they take me up on that opportunity as often as they can.
