The Importance of Leaving Utah
We had three kids before I said, okay, I got to have a break. We moved from Utah to Kansas City when that third child was five weeks old. That was a big adjustment for me. And we hadn't done much traveling when I was growing up. So I remember Kansas City had different kind of trees than Utah had and a different kind of climate. When it rained, it came down so differently than the rain in Utah.
