We Didn't See Each Other Much Growing Up
Lawrence used to have a cousin. His family lived in Peterborough and mine lived in Leicester so it wasn't too far. We'd spend most of the time exploring my grandmother's wide country garden or sitting awkwardly together pretending to do something while our parents talked about whatever grown up topic needed their attention. Since I grew up and moved out though, I hardly ever saw Carl. It didn't really bother me and it certainly didn't bother him. But if you totaled up all the hours we'd spent together since I turned 18, I doubt we'd be very far into double digits.
