The Importance of Prioritizing Projects

You can only get the flow right if you're prioritizing. Otherwise, you don't know what not to do. So it's about being able to say no to projects so that you can row back from that 90, 95% utilization back to sort of 80, 85% where you are most productive. That makes perfect sense. If everyone has no room to breathe, no flexibility to think, no opportunity to shift and organize and own their work then there will be no flow at all.
