I didn't play chess for 30 years, one of the reasons for that was that programming scratched the same itch for me. So it's chess is a very beautiful game. And I'm glad that I've gotten back into it and I'm gradually improving again. It actually there's a former world championship contender ex-Soviet grandmaster called Victor Kortchna. Used to say that you should regularly learn new openings because when you learn a new opening, you learn something else about chess. There are these things where it's just, there's this whole set of ideas that you've never encountered before.
