There is a set of verses in the book of deuteronomy chapter 12 which say something very surprising. The verse reads when god shall expand your borders, and you shall say, i want to eat meat. However, if you live very distant from the place where god has selected to dwell, meaning you live far from the miston, far from the temple or tabernacle, then you can't get there.
