How do we become more sensitive t to language? By some discrimination, especially considering how subconscious an built in grained it is from childhood. Ask yourself if you are reacting to the content of what this person is saying, or am i reacting to the way it's said? And that works for foreign acces as well as local accents. It will make people think harder about their own pepresumptions and e biases.
