Is There a Return of the Fail Whale?

Twitter is trying to fire everybody, right? To cut costs and... Exactly. When you're a publicly traded company, you actually have a fiscal responsibility to not do anything that will impact your profits. I don't think the vulnerabilities are technical resiliency. I think it's an un-weavesability from a product perspective. There are ways in which it can become so unpleasant that people just like stop logging in. It's already pretty unpleasant for a long time.
