The Importance of Tolerance and Understanding in Schools

I find that the trans issue is extremely complicated and it's very very personal. I don't like to see any community demonized. We need healthy discussions about what is and what isn't appropriate within a school environment for people of all backgrounds. Here in the UK there's also been a discussion about women's rights versus trans rights with JK Rowling being called transphobic for raising those concerns. Do you think its unfair that she gets targeted like that because she's raising concerns about another, or do you feel its communities being pitted against each other unnecessarily?
