IGF-1 and IGF-2 Cause Hypoglycemia After Gastric Bypass Surgery

Nocidial blastosis means an increase in insulin caused by hyperplasia of the pancreatic islet cells. Moses tells me that it's common after gastric bypass surgery. IGF-1 and IGF-2 are insulin-like growth factors, but they can also bind to the insulin receptor which causes hypoglycemia.
