The music in this film is largely what you'd expect from the time period. It was scored by ro dby dmitri tomkin, who lived 18 94 through 19 79. And i've seen this score singled out as one of the works that helped cement the electronic musical instruments place in syphi cinema. The other big one was 19 51, the day the earth stood still, scored by bernard herman Ohth.
