The Disciplined Society

The entrepreneurial or performative or achievement society means that you have to do work at home now. And that's what this is the difference between like a factory job type situation where you kind of go to work and leave your work at work. Even your leisure has to be a form of self production into, you know, commodification, self commodification for the purposes of trying to have a retirement eventually. Yeah, yeah, for sure. I actually I was thinking about reading a quote here from the book he've got open here that is maybe a nice exemplification of the shift from the disciplinary society to the Achievement Society.
