I've Been on the Receiving End of the COVID Vaccine Crisis, and I'm Embraced by It.

I think my experience with backlash over vaccines made me empathize with American conservatives who are critical of Trump. I wasn't fully appreciative of how brave some of them were and how much hostility they receive on a day to day basis. Unless you believe gender ideology, unless you affirm, affirm, affirm every child's attestation of being trans, they're going to be driven to suicide and their blood is going to be on your hands. On both sides, you see this where it's this deeply personal, medicalized species of debate where disagreement isn't just violence, but it leads to death.
