The Revolt of the Public Thesis
i suspect there's someone listening who may be having some difficulty squaring the assertion that social media doesn't matter with the revolt of the public thesis. Everything i have done professionally, in one way, shape or form, depends upon the internet. It worries me when terrorists are getting together in supersecure, quadruple encrypted contexts where they can plan their nefarious plots. In finding ways to combat it while respecting people's privacy is a delicate dance. But again, we need thoughtful, serious conversations about those complicated problems that respect our imperfections and are uncertain.
