What Is Communion Tonight?

I feel like one of my responsibilities is to rescue things that are intended to be powerful from religious ceremony. As far as the Eucharist, Eucharist simply means Thanksgiving. I'm also going to read a little bit from our friend, Swab DeTwa's Mirror Study Bible tonight and call it Revelation of the Covenant Meal that has been redeemed from the lens of religious ceremony. Then we're going to take communion together.
