I am a techno optimist, but it is very true that there is a strong argument that technology is inherently corrosive of the fibres of society. One possible solution might be to divide the digital swarm into desirable and undesirable buckets. Pulo says what we can do most of all is remain ourselves. True, but man is a mix of good and bad, virtue and vice. An absence some form of external or internal compulsion, truly remaining ourselves does not tend to look pretty.
