i've seen not a fair number. What you see is an old woman or an old man hobbling down the street with a few things from one of the few shops that have remained open. And i think there's a degree of fatalism, because we did manage to live in harmony when it was the soviet union. Perhaps we can ride this one out and not exactly get back to where we were. But perhapshe prepared to take the chance militarily. The russians are pounding a very narrow front line. At the moment, the centre of that activity is around this town, which is the last foothold on that side of the river of the ucranian forces
