I don't see kind of overfunding happening. ITER is the largest construction project in Europe, and this is a 30 billion dollar production scale fusion demonstration system that should be online by the end of 2020. It's fantastic for the United States if it actually happens. If you're talking about turning energy into a software problem or an innovation problem that looks a lot more like the software industry, that's an area where the U.S. has a huge advantage.
