The Church Fathers Affirmed Baptism Regeneration

I remembered from reading some journal articles that the early church fathers when they read the passage about the word of God is sharper than any two edged sword, that they read it as Jesus. Modern Protestants overwhelmingly read it as a verse about scripture. And in context, it definitely seems to be about Jesus because it talks about the word judging right afterwards,. The Bible is not our judge. Jesus is our judge.
