Right of Publicity - What's the Difference?

A right of publicity is a way to protect some the use of somebody's name, image or likeness. If someone put my photograph in it aon twetese and started using it to sell cat food, then i could probably sue that person in many states. You might have a right publicity claim based on the use of your image in connection with commercial advertising,. And you might also have a copyright claim, or the owner of the photo that they're using might have a copyright claims.
