Is There a Relationship Between Classical Theism and the Surface Reading of the Text?

One of the questions, i think that often people struggle with when they're dealing with classical theism in the light of the bible. There's a sort of commonsensical approach that can be confused by the greater complexities of a deeper, true account. We certainly don't want our work and systematic theology to make us unable to read scripture or take it seriously spiritual life. I'm thinking of different things like the sense in which god transcends time.
