How Do I Separate Myself From Addictions?

"I hold it up for like a year, and then I just, I cry a lot," the rav says of his alcohol addiction. "The more I learn to share myself, and I don't share with people other", he writes. The rabbi has also learned how to separate himself from those who are looking for help in their addictions.

Rabbi Fischer is a rebbe, mentor, and guide to so many with his deep respect, interest, non judgement, and love to his students and listeners.

He is the Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Matisyahu and runs a wonderful rehab in the Old City of Jerusalem.

He was previously the founder and Rosh Hayeshiva of Lev Shlomo in Baltimore, then as Menahel Ruchani and Rebbe in Yeshiva Shor Yoshuv and also as the Director of Shma boys camps.

Rabbi Fischer brings with him many talents and positive energy which he uses to connect to his Talmidim and to all with whom he is involved.

Rabbi Fischer leads his students in a way that focuses on becoming amazing husbands, living authentically, loving one's self, and walking hand-in-hand with the Borei Olam.

He is known for his daily interactive afternoon shiur which focuses on self-growth and judging others favorably.
