Manchester United and Liverpool in the Champions League

Liverpool and Manchester United are geared up towards Champions League football every single year. And we've just seen Mohamed Salah tweet about how disappointed he is, because Liverpool have not... In black and white, no less. I've missed that. It was a really somber apology to Liverpool fans, and must admit, I chuckled a little bit. Some of the most compelling stories have been from teams in European competitions who aren't there all of the time - but it feels good. But United now need to recruit well to have a team capable of doing something in the Champions League. This current team is better equipped to win the Europa League than winning the Premier League.
