In his family, obesity and diabetes are seen as a genetic disease of old age. He wanted to avoid this outcome for himself but was disappointed with the information he received from health monitors. The data itself is poisonous in a way, or like, potentially dangerous and can cause anxiety,. And so it became clear almost instantly that our job is not just providing data to people. It's about understanding what is happening inside of people...and making this really clear.
